CircleBryan Zentz is probably one of the most versatile producers and DJs around. His influences stem from places far out as industrial music, hiphop, and dub, which is reflected in his powerful productions which range from mighty techhouse to acid-flecked techno and spacey electro. His mixing skills are second to none, seemlessly blending Mad Professor tracks with stomping techno (as proven with his amazing dub-flavoured techno mix CD released on Circle Music in 2005).

Situated in Norfolk, Virginia, Bryan was never scared of following his own path, which might be the key to his success. The skating outsider, also known as Barada and Bryan Never, has released highly acclaimed records on high profile imprints such as Richie Hawtin´s Definitive, Carl Cox´s Intec, Elektrix, Jericho, and Primate, and with his latest outing on Circle, he proves again he just never fails to deliver: Four cleverly arranged techhouse tracks  oscillating between spatial groovyness and compellingly driving sonic trickery.  Work your techy magic, Bryan.

A1: „RXDX“ An at first relatively minimal beat structure serves as a launch pad that lets the listener dive straight into this introvertedly dreamy but effortlessly captivating opener that enchants with its haunting melody while the track is gaining speed and finally shuffles with maximum potency through time and space.

A2: “Sew The Sky Shut” Attention, please. This track is a space transporter and will take you to places you have never knew existed. With a minimal sound structure that reigns the energy of this deep and driving monster chugging away through synth stab clouds, it is impossible to resist the dark and compelling groove of this track.

B1: “BZzerone” Listening to this kicking techhouse monster with its retro sounds, bleepy synths, layered on top of an energetic bassline and ultragroovy drums, is more than a reminiscent journey through the galaxies of eletronic dance music. Easily blending electro with oldskool house and new skool techniques with yesterday´s energy, Bryan does it again and creates a timeless spaceship of a track.

B2: “Serine” Another eletro-funk flavoured space stomper whose classically compelling hihat shuffles, synthy chords and vocoder vocal snippets manage to capture formative values, translate them into spaced-out ass-shaking movements and transport this energy onto the floors of tomorrow. Flowing and glowing. Work that sassy drummachine.
