You´ve been mentioning that one of your influences is The KLF? Why this?
Jeff: Indeed KLF has influenced me a lot, I think they brought a lot of fresh sounds and ideas, “What time is love” still brings a lot of nostalgia when hearing it. Also LFO has left big musical scars in my mind
Hot dance music in Europe´s cold North? Does this work?
Jeff: Oh I think that’s a perfect combination, if you live in let’s say Spain, there’s just too much to do at night cause of all the cool clubs and in the day it´s just too tempting to go down to the beach. So to me Sweden is perfect, rainy summers and cold winters, well maybe its not really that bad….
What type of music are you featuring on Kung Fu and Phunctional Loungin?
Jeff: Kung Fu Dub is for my Techy minimal music & Phunctional Loungin for my Lounge/Downbeat stuff. I really like both styles and get very inspired by combining the influences I get from both.
Any affiliation to martial arts?
Jeff: I did practise Jeet Kune Do for some time but that was the good old days, now that I´m a father I don’t end up getting too much time to do any “hobbies” like that anymore. If I would practise anything again it would be Capoeira.
How would you describe your emotional condition during your work in the studio?
Jeff: Its like going to a shrink I think, you clean your mind everyday. Well I just enjoy it so much I don’t end up thinking too much about it, but when talking to somebody about what you do for a living I end up getting a very good feeling doing what I do.
How did you select the tracks for “Liquid Tunes”?
Jeff: Now that did take more time then I imagined, as I try to keep my self up to date all the time with new music I dived down into my digital collection of tracks and started to listen, listen and listen and then the result of all that ended up on the CD.
What would your life look like without music?
Jeff: Ohh, I have thought about that several times, I guess it wouldn’t be as much fun as now, I would have become an architect I think, that was an early goal of mine, or a computer consultant.
Interviews 
In 1975 Jeff Bennett was produced by his parents in Warsaw Poland, but moved to Sweden in 1981 and lives since then in Malmoe Sweden. Jeff who was formerly called Mike Pung has been involved in electronic music since 1992 but it all began as a bedroom thing that has since then evolved into a habit. He started creating music in 1994 and got hooked on it directly, but it took until 1998 before his first single was to come out on his own label Maskros Music.
