John Acquaviva to release Acquaholic Vol. 1 |

John Acquaviva launches Acquaholic Vol. 1 in July, the club soundtrack for his own weekly Ibiza residency. Featuring 17 tracks, the CD encompasses upfront tunes as well as remixes from artists such as Eyerer & Chopstick, Oliver Huntemann, Coburn, Lutzenkirchen, M.A.N.D.Y. and Tomcraft. Should the CD not suffice to satisfy musical hunger, the man hosts his Acquaholic residency at Privilege in Ibiza every Tuesday, presenting the club crowds with a weekly dosage of Acquaviva Acquaholism.
Following a superb production year last year, with own material and collaborations, the Back2Basics mix CD release, as well as the re-launch of his Definitive Recordings, Acquaviva is really keeping busy on all fronts. Moreover, he took part in the development and introduction of FinalScratch and had his hands in the launch of Beatport.com . With a DJ career since the late 70s entailing performances the world over, being the founding father of Plus 8 Records with partner Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva has been, and still is, a driving force in the international electronic scene. In addition to his upcoming Acquaholic CD release and the Privilege summer residency, Acquaviva is venturing into new grounds with performances in China, Tunisia and Dubai lined up in the near future. Acquaviva is definitely keeping himself active, a pleasure for his many fans. |
