HarisHARIS / New Era EP / Laus / Croatian tech-house producer Haris hasn't released anything in about a year, so does this comeback record mark a 'new era' as its title suggests? Although the rolling, warm groove of 'Never Let Go' harks back to earlier Laus material, it sounds like Haris is looking to the future, as he lays down the jacking acid and visceral bassline of 'Eight Ball' and the pulsing, electro-influenced 'Electro Compulsive Therapy', a collaboration with Paul Coleman. It's a fitting return for one of Europe's best tech-house talents.

Richard Brophy New CD compilation licenses: Haris and Rada remix of "Merhaba" by Adi Lukovac and Ornaments from Sarajevo, coming out in May on Brasilian label URBR, Hypno series 002 mixed by Spitfire www.urbr.com Madness / Haris / Laus 019 licensed for Thinking Out Loud 2 Mixed By James Talk coming out in June on Nascent records. New www.lausrecords.com website is being re-built at the moment and should be live real soon.
