Alex Flatner has been working hard on his DJ and producer career. Finally his rich talent and his professional work made him one of the busiest men in the music industry. Besides being the A&R manager of Monoid Recordings, Circle Music and Gedankensport, he is releasing on prestigious labels such as Black Nation, Gekko, Equator or Silver Planet and last but not least his own imprints Monoid Recordings and Circle Music. But Alex´ international producer career started off with his Corvin Dalek,s Pounds & Penz remix gaining worldwide success and becoming the most played track ever in Pete Tong´s BBC Radio 1 show. The track also appeared on the Mix Mag Compilation mixed by Timo Maas in April 2000, on the Ministry of Sound Compilation "Tunes of the Year" and the MTV Compilation which was also licensed to Convert Rec (UK), Warner Germany and by News in Belgium. But this was only the beginning! Soon Alex Flatner hit the Dance Charts with his remix for Awex´ It´s our future (DDC No. 1) and had the honour to deliver a remix for New Order´s single Crystal. In 2004 Alex Flatner took over Monoid Recordings and founded his own imprint Circle Music. With Circle Music Alex has succeeded pioneering the Techhouse sound, always standing at forefront of innovations by signing artists like Sebastian Leger, Stryke & Santos, Southsoniks, Paul Mac and Gui Boratto. But besides his label work, producing and remixing (for example Kool and the Gang´s Ladies Night this year) Alex never lost his biggest love DJing out of his eyes. Every weekend he is travelling the world, bringing dancers his definition of kicking and grooving tunes from Techno to Techhouse, taking them on a journey through his musical universe, always following his aim to create a frenetic atmosphere for the crowd! Alex Flatner is that rare type of DJ that is only satisfied if he succeeded in putting a smile on every dancer´s face, making the night a unique one for them. Watch out for his upcoming DJ Mix-CD on Monoid , which should be released in May , 2006 .
