 Technopol association staff is planning frantically this birthday edition. A little friendly party with 400 000 people to which you are all invited next 20th September! Electro lovers from the very beginning and electro dance kids : everyone will find its musical style et Techno Parade . This very special edition is the object of a refocus on the artistic line up. All Techno Parade staff wants to realize an exceptionnal parade. Guests of honour, patrons, surprise artists, Techno Parade is associating its success to all European electro great artists.
This huge party is the occasion to honour the great variety of electronic music all over Europe. 2008 Paris Techno Parade takes place within the frame of European Cultural Season, organized in France for the French Presidency of European Union. Techno Parade is the event devoted to the promotion and support of electronic music. 400 000 people gather every year in the streets of Paris. The media coverage and the success of Techno Parade is a way for Technopol to show its actions and to talk in the medias about electronic scene difficulties. Since 2006, Techno Parade shares its success with great causes important to the association staff. In 2006, we worked with a French NGO on the slogan « No Famine ». In 2007, Techno Parade has been starting an environmental initiative. In 2008, Techno Parade takes part to the European Cultural Season, organized for the European Union Presidency by France. Two objectives: organize the biggest mobile European dance floor and highlight electronic music creation from all over Europe. Meeting point for Saturday 20th September 2007 from 11am at the Bastille for an electronic tour in the streets of Paris ! Great finale at the Bastille from 18pm until nightfall. Floats and parties !!! 200 DJ’s will be on board 20 floats, making people dance to the sounds of house, techno, trance, hardcore and drum’n bass ! Saturday 20th September is also a big night for Parisian clubs. You’re invited to the official Techno Parade Party at the Show Case, but there are many other parties for every kind of clubber. Technopol Technopol has been organizing the Techno Parade for the last 10 years. Technopol association was founded in 1996 due to the cancellation of rave « Polaris » in Lyon. Various actors of the french electronic music scene had decided to gather in order to defend their rights, and favour the recognition of their music towards french admistration and public. The association militates for the protection, recognition and promotion of electronic culture. Its missions are to protect and advise party organizers, maintain professional recognition of electro culture, support the musical industry and uphold electronic music broadcasting.
