 On Saturday 2 August, at the height of summer, Het Twiske recreational park near Amsterdam will become the setting for the second 'Welcome to the Future ' music festival. From noon till midnight, a cutting edge line-up of DJs and live acts will take to the five stages to present the very best in international techno, house and minimal. Following this huge success, Welcome to the Future returns for a second year, even bigger and better than before. With an extra stage and yet more exciting visuals, the 2008 event will nevertheless retain the relaxed intimate atmosphere that made the first Welcome to the Future festival such a resounding hit. And it all happens in Het Twiske: one of the most attractive festival sites in the Netherlands, conveniently located within a few kilometres of Amsterdam.
Het Twiske will be the place to be on Saturday 2 August 2008. And not least because this second festival marks the fifteenth anniversary of Welcome to the Future, which threw its first party way back in 1993 but has never ceased to look to the future.
