 Dutch DJ/producer Jesse Voorn is rapidly conquering the world with his fresh take on house. As one of the main ambassadors of Dance4Life, he produced the anthem for the SeeMe conference/festival 2008 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The vocals were done by Dutch vocalist and fellow Dance4Life ambassador ZoëXenia. The track was produced as an activation of the partnership between SeeMe and Dance4Life. Both organizations are working together for the first time this year and the first result already is stunning. SeeMe is an energetic house track, with soulful vocals and features the sounds of the caval, a traditional Bulgarian instrument. It already proved to be a true dancefloor burner. DJ Lion from Bulgaria did a remix on SeeMe, which turned out to be a more techno minded track.
Jesse Voorn feat. ZoëXenia – SeeMe will be released first onto the Eastern-European market, by Bulgarian label USB Digital. Later on there will be more coverage. The anthem is now available on Beatport (https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/101967/see_me). All benefits of the anthem go to Dance4Life. Jesse Voorn sees producing this anthem as an honour. “I’m glad I can contribute to Dance4Life and SeeMe with this track,” he states. “Their partnerschip is a very good way to disseminate the Dance4Life message through the Bulgarian youth and my soundtrack for that is this SeeMe anthem. Dance music is really coming up now in Eastern-Europe. I already played there a couple of times and it was amazing. People are really into dance and therefore it was nice to do this track. It’s gonna explode soon.” Dance4Life leads the struggle against HIV and AIDS. The organisation actively involves youth all around the world in pushing back HIV and AIDS and fighting the stigma and taboos surrounding them. The innovative approach of Dance4Life covers all aspects of youth culture: their icons, their media and their favorite music and dance. Dancing is healthy, positive and already connecting young people, but through Dance4Life they start dancing with a cause. SeeMe creates opportunities for music industry professionals throughout South Eastern Europe and showcases the regions hottest new DJs and producers. Together they can make the difference. |
