 Slutty melodies… This is the code of practice that Stereo Hookers slave towards. While crawling the filthy streets of the world’s decadent capitals, this tribe of night stalkers plans for their next fix or young model to devour. From the swanky clubs of Miami to the gutter of London’s darkest corners Stereo Hookers live their life to excess and fear the daylight hours… Like a vampire hawking for virgins, the band are constantly seeking the most twisted of the human race to envelope and drain of their creativity.
The enigma of their trashed out sound infects their listeners, channeling through their veins and burrowing into their pulse, sending signals to the brain on a hourly basis so as to never loose their pray to the glossed up pop sounds of terrestrial radio, “Adventure is only discovered by those that want it” shout J*SON ANALOG, BIT CRUSHER and the fabled KIE-RON-O-TRON to the line of pleasure seekers during a quick trip to Amsterdam haunts for local flavors that accompany the night . Using their DeLorean time machine the band stalk the past seeking treasured cults of 80’s propaganda to fuse with their stanking productions. Controlled from their British lair the Hookers seek like-minded euro-trash for guilty pleasures and shared experiences. Leaving calling cards in telephones boxes and train stations the trio gained many replies and sought out two singing honeys that also tread the same grubby boards of life. Together the five push life’s excesses to the brink of self-destruction. The studio is their pressure valve and their music the enigma… From this excursion into the frenzy of last nights exploits the Stereo Hookers introduce “Dirty Boys” and sweet talkin’ honey Melanie Jane from a night of mixes and mixers including originals and a remix from Steve Mac. A fruitful evening by definition. The journey begins………….. |
