Thirst Studio Global Sessions lands in Las Vegas; the hottest music event celebrating the climax of a year long global search for the best emerging musical talent! May 8th, 2007, Amsterdam: Heineken; in their quest to support emerging music talent and provide relevant and unique musical experiences will be hosting the spectacular Thirst Studio Global Sessions in Las Vegas on May 25th – 27th, 2007. Heineken Thirst Studio Global Sessions will be touching down in Las Vegas for a weekend of dance, rock and hip-hop hosted by the legendary Kanye West along with Paul Oakenfold, Gym Class Heroes, and Gabriel and Dresden. Thirst Studio Global Sessions is a groundbreaking collaboration of rising talent & the planet’s leading producers across urban music genres, culminating in powerful new music & unique live performances. Throughout 2006, Thirst Studio Global Sessions traveled the globe to find the very best musical talent in countries such as Denmark, Indonesia, Croatia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Romania and Hungary. The winners from each country are currently working on new tracks that will be judged by a panel including Paul Oakenfold, Gabriel and Dresden (who were voted “America’s Best DJ” and producers pf “Best Dance Single” at 2007 International Dance Music Awards in Miami this year), and Pioneer in order to choose the Thirst Studio Global Winner 2006. A People’s Choice Winner will also be chosen through voting on www.thirststudio.com. The Thirst Studio Global Winner will be exclusively announced at a private event in Las Vegas at Tao Night Club, on Friday, May 25th by Paul Oakenfold, who will play their winning track. -more- The Global Winner will then go directly to world-renowned “Palm Studio’s” with Gabriel and Dresden to remix the winning track, and then return to Tao Beach to perform the remastered track together. All of the Thirst Studio Winners from participating countries and present in Las Vegas will be awarded the chance to perform at the Thirst Studio Global Sessions Weekend in Las Vegas.
