 The Rogue Element won Best Producer category at the recent Annual Breakspoll Awards at Fabric. Last year's winners were the Plump DJs so its a big up for our man. Not only that but he also won ( with co worker Tom Real ) Best Remix Award for their version of Noisia's Gutterpump. His Rogueness is chuffed to pieces by the accolade, whilst the workers round at exceptional HQ were last seen quaffing celebratory cups of tea and breaking out the jammy dodgers ! New Rogue tracks are rumoured to be heading our way soon, but in the meantime he's been busy with label mate Culprit 1. You will find his take of Culprit's Tricks track online exclusively at Beatport from next Monday (12th March) and on vinyl towards the end of March.
Also included in the package will be an excellent Paul Hartnoll Mix which, and you can trust us on this one, is definitely worth checking. Speaking of things Culprit, he will be appearing live on the first ever exceptional live event "An exceptional night out" which is on 21 March at The Big Chill House. This will be a exclusive one off performance by the Culp featuring himself and string quartet - we think it's going to be rather special. Also appearing will be Mr Plej - aka Arvid, who will be sharing the highlights of his record collection with us, and Baquaa, which is James and Della from Bluprint's new band. So all in all, an evening not to be missed, especially as its free ! So you'd best be cancelling any other engagements and making your travel arrangements to get on down there.
