Alex FlatnerA1: „Der Graf (Original)“ Count on that one, count. “Der Graf”, a heavy rolling slow motion phat burner that slowly grows on you, has a dark tendency developing into a fully grown obsession: To move relentlessly without wasting any second thought on niceties with evil synths, fierce rollercoaster builds and punching bassdrums drilling holes into resistant minds until you give in to their mind games.

A2: „Der Graf (Kiki Remix)“ Kiki likes to run, but this gets virtually impossibly when he starts to play with crazy reverb clicks that completely undermine every attempt to make this a straight-forward affair. With evil strings he tricks the mind while completely tripping out on some organ stabs that sink in his heavily synth driven beat. The powerful groove eventually breaks through, leading us home. An anthem for the last meters.

B1: “Glockenbachtekkno (Nass Remix)” This Nass isn’t a real sportsman. Watching the match from a safe distance, he doesn’t fancy getting dirty. But believe me, this guy knows when to run so don’t underestimate the power of this mindbending exterminator that gains control by staying cool, making freespacefunk for antis who would never sweat to get there faster. It’s all in your mind anyway.

B2: “Glockenbachtekkno (Original)” Many a Gedankensportsman has lost it in Munich’s Glockenbachviertel, many a man had to pack it in, completely mashed up on synths and bleepy acid modulations. This is the shit! Now, if it was the Olympics in some more down-to-earth way, it would not be Tiesto dishing up some diet trance sound but these heroes here tweakin’ some sounds, obliquely bleeping synths that take your mind off it whatever you were on. Sounds confusing? Right!
