 Mr. X – Afrika Islam has finished the work on his new electro tech- live act called Mr. X and the Machine. Machine is a Band, Mr. X & the Machine is a Dj-Team. While the Band MACHINE is developing fine, Afrika Islam (alias Mr. X) and Axel H. (alias AXE) want to also proove their ability as a DJ-Team with an unusual twist of course. As we would expect from these guys, everything is turned upside down and stylistically nothing is at it´s place. Guitars and Turntables collide producing not just and exciting fresh sound, but a visual experience also.
Various guest musicians were invited to ensure musical diversity. On live gigs the band is often enforced by Bassist Jan-Hendrik Meyer or legendary Rapartist Donald D (Rhymesyndicate). Mr. X & MACHINE sound knows no boundaries, electro meets rock, just like techno and metal is mixed with hip hop and house. This is all combined to a 100% of power that will electrify every crowd in every club, dancefloor or concerthall.
A show that you should not miss if you are into any of the above mentioned music styles. Afrika Islam has just started his new Dance Label called X-Beatz. It’s a Label for DJs, who wants to make powerful tracks, which are only for the Dance floor and not for the radio. Mr. X – Afrika Islam has teamed up with fellow dj producers like DJ Micheal Lazar (Low Spirit Rec.) to record the No. 1 radio hit: “X comes to your spot”. Check it out on Planeta Radio Poland. He also teamed up with the hardcore label Blutonium Records to create a new style project… The first double Mix CD of him, called Mr. X in the Mix is out on universal records, now. |
