SlamAfter a highly successful year of releases, including their 200th release and celebrating its 15th birthday, Soma bring you their compilation of 2006. The release comes as a double CD, CD1 is packed with some of the best tracks released on Soma this year including Alex Smoke's 'Make My Day', which has been described as a "wonderfully thick and spacious slab of techno soul." Tracks from The Black Dog and a previously unreleased mix of Octogen's 'C-Side' follow on from this.
The 'C-Side' mix is a 10 Tech mix from Vmax's Heath Brunner (aka Silicon). It is a twinkling Detroit workout that maintains the full effect of Marco Bernardi's skewed, electronic vocal. Octogen's debut album titled '2five0nine', is due for release in January 2007.

CD1 also includes tracks from My Robot Friend, Silicone Soul , Funk D'Void & Phil Kieran and more tracks from Alex Smoke, who mixed the latest Sci-Fi Hi-Fi compilation.

Repeat Repeat, who feature on the 2006 Compilation, have recently released their debut album, titled 'Squints'. They contribute to the compilation with their first single released on Soma, 'Bounce Your Body To The Box.'
CD2 is mix CD from Soma label bosses, Slam. It includes mixes of tracks by The Black Dog, The Separatists, Funk D'Void, My Robot Friend and more! Purchase now from the Soma Shop.
