Second run of classic KEVIN SAUNDERSON getting updated for today’s floor. dutch techno veteran choose “Bassline", while SAMUEL L SESSION turns in a dope take on “pump the move” - essential www.wordandsound.de/article/51073. Magnificent reworking of classics. Floorfiller http://hardwax.com/?search=kevin+saunderson . After the first disc of 'History Elevate' blew us away with those two Carl Craig and Locodice remixes it's now time for part 2, which sees Kevin Saunderson get the remix treatment from Joris Voorn and Samuel L Sessions. The former takes on 'Bassline' and unleashes a low-end pushing techno/ house killer of a mix, full of tension, build-ups and, ultimately, reward. Over on the B, Sessions drops his remix of 'Pump The Move' which also utilises a subby bassline but with Detroit-esque looped pads for an elongated techno workout that really hits the spot. Essential techno gear. www.phonicarecords.com/detail.aspx?ID=26257 |

The first single from my second solo album, "BatBox", is out now and features two remixes of my track "Kittin is High". On one side there's "9/11", a tense and broody club mix from Norwegian underground talent Black Labelle. On the other, JoJo de Freq, my fellow DJ playmate and resident at NagNagNag, has added a big, bouncing, acid-tinged bassline and Euro-synth stabs to her "Beauty is Terror" mix. Rob Reger also designed a limited edition picture disc that you can find in your local record store. A "normal" vinyl edition is also available. And you can download the single at your online music store. |

There's a little bit for everyone on there and we're pretty sure you're going to like these tracks as much as we do!! We are excited to bring you the debut release from Gel Abril's "The Underground Bullshit/Papa Dee" A lot of you were fans of Gel's remix of the amazing Freakside by Shlomi Aber or his releases on Be As One. The Underground Bullshit - A minimal, raw, tech house track that focuses around a bass-line that will instantaneously burrow itself deep into anyone’s head and never leave! Analog stabs are drenched in delays, thrusting the song onward, creating tension and mayhem. A spellbinding groove that causes havoc on any sound-system, and has destroyed many clubs and big festivals this past summer by WiNK, causing him to want this track for Ovum. |

Dan Corco – A name that strikes… The alias used by the French DJ and producer Pierre Corcodan has become a trade mark for melodic yet driving, Detroit-influenced techno and techhouse that hits like the first rays of the sun climbing over the horizon on a fresh morning. Perfectly apt to enchant any summery outdoor party after a wild night in a club somewhere South, the colourful sounds of Dan Corco, released on influential labels such as Dave Angel’s Rotation Records, Scandium, and Goodlife, leave a mark wherever they get played. |

SIDE A JULIEN JABRE " THE STOOK " This warm production seems to be a magic track inspired by Chicago House figures Lil’ Louis and Memphis House Boss, Mr. Fingers AKA Larry Heard. With its incredible and amazing atmosphere « The Stook » is going to send all the listeners into a hypnotic and euphoric voyage. SIDE B DAVID DURIEZ " WILDERNESS ".
