 Acid house legend Tyree Cooper teams up with prolific German producer and Dynamic Records boss Marc Romboy for a monster collaboration. The Original mix gives pure nods to the Chicago Acid house sound. Pure 80’s 303 Acid lines with the production of now. Tyree lends his effective and simple vocals, pushing this track to another level complementing the swing. An acid groove to make anybody’s booty move! Dancefloor devistation! The Dub loses the 303 and the vocals, adds a synth line and a pulsing rhythm that starts out minimal and develops into an contagious groove. The track progresses into a hypnotic state, where the synth resonates and opens it’s envelopes engulfing anybody who is listening, grabbing them and shaking them back and forth!  Clubbers from Bosnia & Herzegovina can be proud because they get new party place, club FROTEA in Citluk (Herzegovina). The club opened by local people on October 2007. Its the biggest venue in this region with 2500 m2, 7 bars, fast food, big VIP room and lot of small VIP rooms. High-end light and sound effects with 20KWs. From 5th April they are starting with electronic music program, based on electro-house international DJ guests. So Clubbing-scene.com feat. local Beton Crew from Mostar are working promotion and booking there. First they will have Ian Pooley from Germany, then Gadjo 19th April and this events will take place every 2 weeks. Ian Pooley is waiting for new album (In other words) release, while Gadjo is releasing new single. |

 NRK label boss, Nick Harris has compiled and mixed a double CD of Miami Music Conference inspired tunes, both past and present. Miami Underground will be available on mixed and unmixed CD at the end of March. The influential dance music conference has become a springboard for new music and new producers, and many classic records have emerged from the conference over the years, going on to celebrate wider success. Disc One “The Present” concentrates on the new underground tunes that are expected to be on heavy at the conference and beyond.  An Australian of Italian extraction based in the UK, Anthony Pappa is a true internationalist, with a self-imposed mission to take his music out to the best clubs this planet has to offer. Anthony graced the cover of DJ magazine in 2000, part of the famed Nu Breed that also included Craig Richards, Lee Burridge and Steve Lawler. Riding that Zeitgeist at the time when progressive house really was pushing the envelope for electronic music, the exposure helped to cement his place as one of the key players in the house scene. Ask him what he plays now, and he replies with a healthy disregard for genres… “just good music,” he smiles.

 Looked forward to almost as much as the Hollyoaks babe Calendar, Kinky Malinki make their annual pilgrimage to the sunny climes of the epicentre of all things musical in March – Miami. Whilst some of the locals might look like buffed clones with blazing teeth, all silicone and no soul, there’s still no denying the WMC is as fundamental to the music industry as, well, having ears to listen to music. In the land of extremes it’s refreshing – almost as much as a dip in that frothing blue water – to see Kinky Malinki keeping matters real. Whilst it’s easy to get lost in the morass of endless parties, Mojitos, bulbous chests and sunshine, Miami still has an elusive magic that nowhere else can replicate, where deals are done, sun is shone and people party on. |

 Argentina has been a major force in electronic dance music for quite a number of years now. Leading the charge has been the unstoppable Hernan Cattaneo but there is a whole host of DJs and producers following in his slipstream, none more so than Manuel Sofia aka MOS. Born the son of a renowned Argentine classical pianist 26 years ago, music is in Manuel's blood and by the age of 16 he had already started DJing. Now his discography boasts releases and remixes for labels such as Sprout, Swift and Vapour and he can count Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie and Funk D Void amongst his growing legion of fans. |

Included in the weeklong celebration of 11 events in 6 days, the hotel announces that all registered guests will receive complimentary admission to all day and night events. WMC 08 @ The Shelborne will include more water stations, a food court with BBQ, Salad and Fruit stations in the tropical Garden area.  The Presslaboys (or Luigi Gori and Omar Neri as their mothers call them) have been making high quality state-of-the-art dance music for ten years now. Based out of Arezzo, Italy, their reputation has been spreading like wild fire around the globe after celebrated releases on such esteemed labels as Steve Lawler's Viva Music, Satoshi Tomiie and Hector Romero's SAW Records and Damon Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels. The boys are not new to Audio Therapy either. Their 'Trombatores' track was one of the highlights of our Italian Across Borders compilation and the sublime 'Come back to Brazil' featured on Dave Seaman's mix CD, Therapy Sessions Volume 4.

 Kevin celebrated a splendid start to 2008 with sell out DJ gigs at the fabulous Loft in Barcelona, Fabric London, Smart Bar Chicago, Shadow Lounge Miami, Session Club Bucharest, Flex in Vienna and Fabrik Madrid this weekend. January saw Kevin's "Detroit Connection" mix CD on Umek's Explicit label, featured in M8 Magazine's Top 20 Compilations of 2007, and the huge success of parts 1, 2 and 3 of his History Elevate series on Planet E/KMS are certainly reasons to be cheerful, particularly with Simian Mobile Disco’s reworking of “Big Fun” entering at number 3 in the Main Beatport Chart. With headlining appearances in the pipeline for this year including Fama Festival, Awakenings Festival, Apokalypsa Festival, Materia Viva Festival, Gatecrasher, Creamfields and the 10th Anniversary Summer Spirit Festival, and it's only February.
